And one more, which would you suggest getting, the 2.0 mm or the 2,5 mm chassis? I mostly run on med/high grip carpet.
I got the idea that Hofer always runs the 2.0 mm chassis.

Yeah 2mm soft always for me. As you say, same as Martin.

Is there a huge difference between the LP and CX? Lets say you own a LP would it honestly be worth selling and buying the CX? Are the parts interchangeable?

I only just recently jumped onto the Schumacher band wagon so I may not be the best person to answer your question.
I have a pair of Mi4LP's, as far as I know all suspension and drive line components cross over with no problems.
The biggest differences between the CX and LP are the new spool, steel drive shafts, big bore shocks and the lightened black anodized bulkheads.
I have the new spools on order and the big bores I am not in any hurry to get. As for the bulk heads, the only time the LP bulkheads will be an issue is if you go to add the new long top deck, it can be done but doesnt seems to be the easiest and most build friendly way to go.
I was dead set on the CX and only the CX till I looked into the minor differences between the two, that and the amazing deal I got on two LP's changed my mind.
I used to run a Losi JRX-S Type R and I can say already my laps times have decreased significantly.

I'll second that thought !! I too have a pair of MI4LP's and it is by far the best chassis I've ever had. Easy to work on and just handles great. I imagine the CX is as good but I paid less for both my cars than 1 new CX. Will I eventually get a CX ?.....probably. But by then the next great Schumacher car will out.
