When guys talk about the HPI silver spring, is this the one they refer to?

Hi Martin,

Im trying to replace the quick clips with the purple spaces but they dont fit. Did you drill those tiny washers to make it fit?

Any updated setup sheets?

cheers!
Ryan

Hotbodies/HPI purple washers are a direct fit. Inner diameter of 3.15mm

I still use the same setup as always. No changes at all. Boring I know :-)

Hello to all!

I'm new to electric world. I come from 6 years in 1/10 nitro racing and this winter I want to keep racing.
I have now a Mi4CX and I still need to buy a body.
What do you suggest?
Which are the best bodies on the market now and their many features?
There are light and regular bodies like in the nitro class?

I will use the car in a small indoor track with rubber tyres.

Thank you for the replies

Bodies of choice are Mazda 6 or ltcr from pro line. Those are the best handling bodys

Roughly how long does it take to change over to the long top deck?
My supplier is coming to the track on Sunday and I would like to fit it before the first round of qualifying.
Am I right in thinking it replaces the center bulkhead where the layshaft is, and the little diff retainers?

It's really hard to say - it depends how quickly you can wrench
Yes it replaces center bulkhead and diff retainers - don't forget threadlock as you'll need to use it on grubscrews for roll bars.

Uh and if anybody is using twin point steering system - don't forget to switch std nyloc nuts to low nuts and preferably also shorter balstuds. You most likely can get away also with little dremelling on nyloc nuts but I didn't like that idea.

Do the soft weave chassis fit the Mi4Lp? Going to get the long top deck, and chassis needs replacement too

Softweave chassis is fine for LP, long top deck is a little difficult, as you end up needing a 1.5mm spacer between LP bulkhead and new diff mount part, makes it a little tricky to build - although is possible.

Thanks for the info, saw the post earlier about fitting the long deck on an LP, going to give it a try.
