Everyone knows you can flip the center layshaft and motor mount to run the motor on the "battery side" of the car. Shawn has flipped ONLY his center layshaft so the spur gear is on the right side but leaving the motor mount on the left side of the car. In theory this is going to force you to move the motor further to the inside of the chassis keeping more weight into the center of the car.

Something to think about
i thought thats how it was suppose to be done, i didn't realize you could flip the whole darn thing over, good info, thanks

Hello,

I would like to know some tips about the MI4...

Everybody use the CF arms ?
Because my car has need more steering.

I tried the basic setup of Chris but with the Medium arm, and silver springs (HB) and the steering off power was not great.

Do you have some advice for me ?

Default Bandit's Raceway Park!

Recieved my kit yesterday.... It was a very smooth build with a flawless build manual. So many options that I never thought about tuning previously. Someone should be very proud of the r&d in this machine. I'm proud just as an owner. Track testing today of course! If anyone is nearby please feel free to come out to our track this saturday. There will be a few prepping their cars for our upcoming Speed Passion summer racing series. (6 race event)

sO I FLIPPED ALL MY BELTS AROUND AND MOVED THE MOTOR IN BUT THE ONLY PROBLEM I SEE IS YOU NEED TO CUT THE SHAFT EXCESS THAT STICKS OUT THE PINION AND USE LIPO LOCATERS OTHERWISE THE BATTERY WILL HIT THE SPUR GEAR .AM I MISSING SOMETHING? ALSO THE 96 SPUR IM USED TO RUNNING WONT WORK CAUSE THE MOTOR WONT SLIDE BACK FAR ENOUGH WITHOUT HITTING THE PULLEY ..

When and where are you running next? I can't race Ripon after July 1st until I use all of my non spec tire's so that track is off my list I'll call you later on today. I think you'll be at Norcal today. I might swing by on my way to Art's house.
