Is that thing gonna fall off the american map?

But its a part of life, something happens, and people make personal decisions on what they wanna do. I made my decision for what benefits me best, and others made the ones that benefit them the best.

Right. For me, I would prefer if my local shop would be able to stock parts for the car. If he can't, but I can get the parts elsewhere easily and at reasonable cost, that's a second best solution ... I wouldn't buy a new Schumacher, but wouldn't get rid of my current one either. If I have to wait a month+ to replace a broken part, then of course that won't work at all.

Feel free to send me any spare parts you don't want
Hmmm. I don't have an LHS. Gonna sell my Mi4 as well if this is true.

It wont take a month to get parts. Ordering from the UK will only take a day or 2 extra. And if you buy from amain or stormer then whats the difference make? Sure they might be running low on parts at the moment because of the little swap going on. But once everything is back to normal I dont think it will be like anything changed.

As long as stormer keeps parts in stock that's ok by me, I have no LHS that even sells TC parts.

Thank you! I actually did snag some before AMain ran out. Hopefully Schumacher and their distributors will be able to sort this out before I need anything else, but will keep that in mind. I really do like the car...

I'm going to miss Adam and Shawn and I wish them luck on their new endeavors. I'm going to miss them both and all of the hard work and help they provided. Over the years, Schumacher USA has done a great job promoting and supporting the hobby and their products and they currently have the best TC out on the market (IMHO). It may take a day longer to get parts, but that seems a small price to pay for such a great car. As for support, a huge amount of support comes from this board we are on right now. Over the years, Schumacher drivers have seemingly always been willing to help with setup and product advise much more than other drivers (once again IMHO) and I don't see that changing at all in the future. Thanks Adam and Shawn for all of the help and assistance you have given me...and Paul and Adrain and everyone else that worked there. I really appreciated everything you guys have done.

I hope that the parts keep coming and are easy to get a hold of. I just had two more guys switch over to the purple side in the last two weeks. Right now I feel almost guilty about talking them into this car. I love everything about the Schumacher line and I hope that everything works out in the US. I plan on riding out this confusion and not jump ship like a few have in the past few weeks and I hope that on Monday we will hear something that will make us all happy. I don't want Schumacher to fall off the map in the US.
They offer a good, competitive product that is different from everything else out there. I have stuck with Schumacher from the first Mission and I hope that they have some thing in the works to stick by us.

I think Racer X summed it up best

You may have to wait an extra day or two to get parts.

Default lipo in mi4lp

hi guys,
i am quite new to the mi4lp. one question came to my mind when seeing the pictures. can you use lipos without the chassis "bumps" at the bottom? i am asking because from the pictures i can only tell that the mi4lp has an L-shaped battery holder in front, but in the rear there is no L-shape. has anybody tried to use a lipo without these bumps at the bottom of the lipo? eg. robitronic?

cheers guys

Three of my four packs are flat. They fit just fine. I tape them in the same place as the pack with the bumps so the balance is not affected.

The kit also comes with 2 bumps that you can super glue to the bottom of a flat pack.
