Hi Jilles, I've noticed the 416X can understeer a little on power compared with the original 416 with a similar setup. Should I just move some weight around to correct it or do you make setup changes to give a bit more steering?

Can someone please explain the significance of the "deg" rating on the much more, top and other silicone o-rings. For a example 30 deg vs a 50 deg. What is the advantage of one over another? Is it to designate the hardness of material?

Hi Jilles,

Would you mind to post both set up of your M05 and 416X at TITC 2010. Thank you.

+1

My new 416X seems to push mid corner more than i remember my WE doing, when running a similar setup and tyre.

Im not running a steering brace, and this gave good mid corner steering on the WE

Any tips appreciated!

are you run ning anti dive in the front? If so if u take it off and run the front wishbones level it should give you some more mid corner steering.

Thanks John, but my car is kit as far as anti dive, squat spacers under the blocks goes i.e. all wishbones level.

I started at the X kit setup, but with 40w front oil 35wt rear and HPI Blue springs on the rear, HPI silver front.

Hey Jilles!

I´ve been having a problem with my steering, every time I hit a bump in my trf 416 the steering gets unaligned and when i check the car every thing seems fine! What do You think it´s causing this problem?!

note: I´m using the standard servo saver a savox 12Kg servo and the aluminium turnbuckles

Thanks for the help!

The springs on your servo saver is stretched out causing play. Switch to kimbroughs.

Hello guys,

Sorry for not being around for a while.
Pretty busy with races lately.

If my scanner works I will post my set-ups from the TITC TC and Mini + my set-up from last week LRP masters.
I will also upload some pics of my M05 from the TITC race.

Later on I will try to answer the previous posts as good as I can.

Jilles, can you also post a photo of your tourer? I heard it was heavily modified!

Attached another picture of my M05.
I cut a lot of plastic to get the speedo flat to the chassis and 40gr weight on the other side for the balance.

Craig,

My TC at TITC was not much modified. In practise I tested a new lipo chassis but the chassis was 2.0mm and just too soft. For saterday and sunday I went back to my regular 6cell chassis (2.25) and pretty much standard set-up.
To be honest I don't have a picture of my TITC TC car.
Maybe someone saw me testing with saddle pack configuration prior to the race, this was not so bad but Lipo on one side is still the best!

Hi Jilles. If you need a stiffer Lipo chassis, please PM me and I can put you in touch with someone who can help!

Hi Jilles,

I heard you had dremelled down the bulkhead clamp and tapped a new screw hole so you could run longer front camber links?? Maybe that was the saddle car
