Congratulations to Jilles on his awesome win. I am happy to see you were able to overcome the troubled first leg and get the overall win. it's just too bad your teammate had to suffer a bit of bad luck for it to happen though.

Enjoy the victory!!!!!

would have been more fun to see Jilles, Marc and Victor battle it out, but i kept reading about a "bad batch" of tires. someone should quality control the handout tires.

good job to Jilles and all of TRF

Just wanted to send out a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to my former teammate Jilles Groskamp for making the 3rd time a charm and winning the Touring car Euro's. Jilles is one of the classiest racers in the world and definitely deserves the win!

Hello everyone,

Just came back from the euros. Thank you all for the kind words, this title means so much for me!
5 cars in the top 6 is an awesome results!
Attached you will find my set-up from the Euros.

This week I will leave to Thailand and I will start doing test work for both electric and nitro classes.
In the mean time I will try to keep up with the thread so feel free to drop a message.

Thank you again,

Jilles

Well done Jilles and like everyone said, very well deserved. Have fun in Thailand and hope that means we will see you in Australia some time!

Could you please explain the removal of the steering brace? I know previously you guys removed the screw that attaches the steering brace to the upper deck. Does removing the steering brace give more flex and therefore more steering?

Hi Jilles,
first of all congratulations for your European Championship, well done.

My brand new TRF is waiting for some new motor pinions but I haven't got idea about the suitable pinion teethrange to have in my pit box.

Could you let me know the good pinion teeth range to buy, please?

from 39T to 45T?

Thank you in advance.

I suppose you will move to Thailand for test something new .
Will you go to Lostallo for the 1/8 World Championship?

Thank you a lot

Default Project documentation : Jilles' answers

Hi Everyone,
in these months Jilles has give us a gift, he is giving us a lot information, excellent set-ups and videos too with Redrc collaboration and published on youtube® about our beloved hobby and the excellent Tamiya TRF 416 :-)
So during my short summer holiday I got an idea, create a documentation in order to collected all Jilles's answers in one place divided by subjects, as you can see in the attached files I posted them in .doc format in order to keep them editable and free of use and most important thing making our contributions to keep them updated.

I hope these files will help us to improve our skill during test and race events too

Please, give me a feed back about the project...

Regards,
Marco (lynx75)
