Green slim on the o-ring helps alot on the leak.
also some 5*0,2 or 0,3 sims on the outdrive to limit the play.

How is everyone building their TRF shocks with 1 o-ring or 2 o-rings? Regardless of how I have been building mine they still leak after 2-3 runs. I am using new blue Tamiya o-rings and associated green slime. I have tried building them with the white plastic spacer and 1 o-ring, as well as removing the spacer and building with 2 o-rings. Does not seem to make a difference. The shock shaft is in good condition and not worn.

I am curious, The 417x comes with a 2.5mm upper deck, 2.25 lower deck and the "stiffer set is 2.25 upper and 2.5 lower without changing any of the cutouts.

I run on a VERY high grip track that I experience traction roll on the regular. Would you reccomended keeping the kit 2.5mm upper deck and just getting the option part from tamiya (2.5mm lower deck)
