For those that don't know, Jilles came 2nd to Meen after qualifying P2, and he won the second final. In the 3rd main it looked like his car might have been a little better but had a half spin coming onto the straight which let Meen get away. Hara was 3rd, Marc 4th.
He needs to practice popping bottles of champagne

Jilles,

In many of your 416x setups, as well as other Pros, you run 0.5 shims under the rear bulkheads.

What effect does this have on the car and under what condition do you decide to use the .5 shims to raise the rear bulkheads?

Thanks.

Default Tamiya TRF 416

Hi,

I have bought a TRF 416

It came with a 62t 64p spur gear, i was thinking of replacing it with the standard .04 105t spur.

I have a Novak Ballistic 7.5t paired with a Novak GTb2 speedy.

What pinion should i use with this?

Nope, shims under the suspension blocks raise the roll center.

Hi Jilles,
I run my TRF 417 with a R10 pro and orion 5.5.
My track is CRAP, the same track you made TQ in WC 1/10-200 2008 in Portugal, remember?
If you donít mind, I would like you give me a set up for Tamiya and R10pro.
Tanks.

Hi Jilles,

Im having troble with my 417x, it is way loose in the rear.
I drive on a aspalth medium grip.
Right now i use your andernach setup, any ideas what i can try to improove the rear grip?
The problem is biggest while going on power in the trun exit.

Gratz on your podium finish

Thanks in advance

Hi Jilles

The Scirroco seemed to be the flavour of choice for FWD at the recent TITC.

How do you find this body compared to the old Civic, integra and any others you have tested?

Cheers

Hi Jilles,

We've noticed in the photos from ETS that Marc had his sway bar mounted further in on the arm. Did you also run this, and what difference does it make? Is it safe to assume the hole is hand drilled?

Cute photo of the Groskamp men on there too
