How serious are you??
well i recently saw a thread for "you know how old you are if"
so consider yourself a serious rc racer if you find yourself
doing the following:
cleaning unburned solder off every solder joint
cutting the comm every run
cleaning the dirt out of the inside of your rims
rebuilding your car after every practice/race day
place your body pins in exactly the same order as all the other
pins
re-organise your pit halfway through the race day
have you name/team engraved into your tools
clean your body using expensive motor spray
clean all the buttons and switches on you chargers/high tech
equipment with metholated sprits just to get rid of the dirt.
consistently put your soldering iron on the sponge even if it isnt dirty just to hear the fizzing sound.
put tire warmers on your tires even if your not at the track
spend a long time making sure all your tools have the label up at you.
re-align the brush hoods every 3 runs
stick stickers on to your "team associated" t-shirt or jumper
spend a lot of time and money trying to make your pit look "pro"
have to buy every new bit for your car even if it does nothing
have more than 4 pit towels
put a hardboard onto your already hard surface table
listen to music on your walkman for "inspiration" just before your race!
so do any of you guys do this?

Just not the electric stuff (I race nitro) and I've got only 3 pit towels... I guess I'm sane.
