Eli had the hot lap for the weekend with a 9.98. McSmooth's fast lap was 10.40, and he was the fastest of the non-AE ESC cars for the week, so about almost 0.5 sec faster.

quick question:

how did mod 12th manage to tq 3.5 laps faster than ss-12th, if the new speedo is a half second faster?

historically, stock >> ss >> mod were all ~.5 apart/lap (give or take). so if the new esc is that much faster, you should only need a 13.5 to run at the front of the modified class. and the stock class should be running .5 sec back from mod. yet, looking at the tq runs for stock, ss, and mod 12th, the separation is pretty much the same as it's always been. and i'm not certain, but i think both blackstock and cyrul should have been running something other than the luscious diamond esc.

talk to me, here, folks. or did everyone sell out?

1/12 Scale Super Stock A Main:

1 BRIAN WYNN 9.687
2 TOM FIRSCHING 9.666
3 ELI EZROW 9.785
4 JOE TRANDELL 9.682
5 STEVE RADECKY 9.766
6 MAX KUENNING 9.737
7 CHUCK LONERGAN 9.884
8 ANDREW KNAPP 9.598
9 JOHN FIRSCHING 9.756
10 WALTER HENDERSON 9.809

So did everyone in the 1/12 scale 13.5 SS A Main run the Advance Blackdiamond? Those fast laps look pretty close to me.

And the Masters A Main:

1 ELI EZROW 10.181
2 WAYNE GERBER 10.249
3 CHUCK LONERGAN 10.209
4 PHIL ZIMMERMAN 10.523
5 WAYNE VINCE 10.455
6 RANDY GROSSE 10.490
7 BRIAN WYNN 10.176
8 TERRY ROTT 10.445
9 JIM PIERSOL 10.441
10 FRANK CALANDRA 10.395

I know all of these guys were not running a Blackdiamond but not sure which ones were.

Very interesting point. Also, Wayne G qualified well in 1/12th masters, and lead the A main for a number of laps... Sponsor sheet read was Tekin??

I wouldn't know where to start. Haven't touched or seen an RC car since 2006.

Any thought of making this race a "Snowbirds Style" event? I know CRC would like to attempt something like that but it would probably be to close to the birds. This race may be in a perfect time for it. I personaly would love to go to the birds but I just cant make it to florida. I guess a carpet oval/ on-road race in the north east just makes sence to me, it seems like 75% of the racers are from Tennesee and the Carolinas north.
