Default Hard Case lipo with TB Evolution V MS

Hi Guys,

I have a Tamiya TB Evolution V MS which I finished yesterday, for this car I bought LRP Vtec 5300 Hard Case lipo, unfortunately I cannot fit this hard case type battery into this car, but normal packs fit it perfectly, is there any way so that it will accept hard case batteries,

Please Help

what part of the car is preventing you from fitting it in? The top deck to low?

Normally, parts J2- J5 are preventing to fit hard case lipo because it is like a rectangular box and normal battery has curved edges that is the reason

The team orion carbon case battery packs will fit, return that LIPO or sell it.

If you flip your battery over (with the humps on top) you can slide it in order to avoid the top deck. Use some good quality tape (I use Xenon) and you're done. Don't worry if the battery is a bit off the edge of the chassis, it will hold. That's the way I use that Lipo on my TRF 416.

Cheers,

Those parts aren't used for lipo packs. You would usually tape the battery in if you using lipo. Im building one now. I think if you want to use those parts you can remove J4 and put them to the outside and turn them around. Then don't use J5. I don't have a pack right now to test but looks like there is about 46.5MM width so if the pack is less then that you should be good.
