Default R.O.A.R. lowers 12th scale weight !!!!!!

Just received my new R.O.A.R. rulebook (revision January 2009) and on page 49, section 8.10.3.1: "Weight 795g". This is down from the 860g used at the Nats last year.
This is not a bash R.O.A.R. thread, I just want to know if this is the correct weight. I heard rumors that the B.R.C.A. had lowered the weight to 800g for single cell lipo cars, so did R.O.A.R. do the same?

The weight has always been that amount. For Nats they are keeping it at 865 still.

I believe they haven't adjusted the weight yet until the Lipo stuff shakes out. So they are just doing a rules updates for the nats.

795g has been the weight for awhile (though, wasn't it 794g?...anyway) for ROAR. This year's Nats minimum of 865g is an approved deviation. It's been a little confusing, particularly since races like Cleveland or the IIC can set their own specs. And of course, each national federation will tend to have somewhat different rules, too. But don't worry, lipo will clear it all up
