Arrow Kyosho's latest touring offering

hey,

does anyone know what kyosho is working on right now? i saw some pics from one of the recent hobby shows, but they are not great and i don't know much about it.

where's the hype and hoopla about this? surely it's been mentioned more in the orient.

any word, links, or pics?

i'll post what i have.

kyosho's odd tendencies seem to be carrying over from their last effort. an opposite mounted motor that will cause eccentuated squat and dive characteristics durring operation. all for the effect of increased efficiency of a nearly direct rear end.

although, the recent word is that some fast losi dudes are running prosquat in the rear with good results. huh/

i do like kyosho's previous suspension components which appear to show up on this proto as well.

thoughts anyone?

That looks to be about where the motor was on the MR-4. The chassis looks too thin, they either need to use thicker c/f or go molded. Of course, this is just a prototype so maybe they will use a molded chassis on the production car.

They (Kyosho) had their prototype at the Japanese Nats. The Japanese magazine.. "RC Magazine" had pics of it in the November issue.

Those are pretty nice looking cars. Good to see Kyosho continuing to develop touring cars.

Any word if Lipos will fit easily?
