Thanks but why the sudden release of the pictures? Did Josh take back the threats against your life?

I guess these images don't reveal anything we haven't already seen in the CAD images.

The axles look longer than they need to be. Ask Losi why that's not good.

Q, The pics were taken with permission. With the release of the Photon so close and the release of the CAD images, it didn't seem neccesary to continue the secrecy. Honestly, we just got tired of hiding the damn car all the time

I suspect they're pre-production cars.

Interesting to see an LRP motor in Josh's car. I thought he ran Hacker motors?

QUOTE]

Both of the cars that Josh and EJ are running are prototypes and differ from each other and the final production version in some details

I'm in the US and running the original Scythe but it has been updated to current ARP car parts. You cannot compare the original scythe to any of the newer versions or this new car. It is true that the original car required quite a bit of "fussing" with to get the proper fitment on many areas of the car. So in that reguard it was well under the fit and finish of any xray car. However on the more recent ARP car the fit and finish was much improved and with Josh leading the design I fully expect that the new photon will be excelent.

As to parts avialiblity that is the one area that I would like to see some improvment. I have only had to order parts one time, and while OD was great to work with as allways I did have to wait longer than I'd have liked for parts to be shipped overseas.

Chris,
I'm surprised you didn't give us a more negative review than that. The order you placed took FOREVER to fill. We have learned how to keep the inventory up better than that since then, with a frequent stock order and larger quantities to insure that we do not run out of parts. We plan on having full parts support for the Photon and orders generally ship on the day they are recieved. We are not a big company like AE or RC America, etc, but we are extremely motivated to do our best for each and every individual racer.

Yes it did take some time but the customer service was excelent and in the long-run thats what really counts.

BTW I need a new chassis, mine is getting really scratched up but as I run on rough asphalt I hate to buy a new one. So if anyone has a nice used one lmk.
