Hi guys, do the hotbodies cyclone belts fit the photon? standard belts seem very tight soaked them in wd40 and they still seem extremly tight ran the car several times.

Thanks

Well I haven't gotten my kit yet ( ) but I know the tension is adjustable. Are you running on the loosest setting?

Hi there, thanks for the reply. yes the belt is on the loosest setting and stil feels like a guitar string. trying to stretch with cable ties leaving them locked up at night.

Have you tried all of the positions for the diff? It's mounted in a cam that can be rotated to loosen and tighten the belt as well as raise and lower the diff. Double check the initial position listed in the manual and make sure you start there!

Sorry, yep this is on med grip asphalt. I'll take your setup to the track and give it a go if the changes I've made dont work. The setup I'm going to try on the weekend is close to Josh's reedy setup, but a lower front rc (mid-down on the front hinge pins) and the shocks on the outside hole on the front arms. I'm also going to test the HPI pro linear springs which I've always found to be the best springs on asphalt
