I'm pondering weather to order an EX or not this weekend, spent a lot on RC gear over the new year, but then my current Photon needs a work over, between a few shagged bits and really needing some replacements diffs (managed to chew two micro diffs within two meets in the front end), I realized by the time I clean up and sort out the old car, I'd be half way to buying the new one...
This is a completely new gear diff. So far I've been happy with it.

You will have to put spacers on both sides of the diff, but should work just fine.

Larry or Mike, I need help with a top deck question. I'm running my E.J. chassis Photon at NorCal with a soft top deck. My thinking is more flex better steering. I noticed tonight that most of F.J.'s posted set ups use the medium. is there a benifit with a stiffer top deck?
Larry I conceed that yours is the fastest Rebel WGT in Texas, but mine is 2nd fastest.

I'm a little surprised there has still been no final box/marketing pictures of the EX, been hanging and sort of waiting on final spec confirmation before placing my order...

Did u see EJ car? Notice the unanodized parts? I think everything is coming together on the new kit as we speak ... so it shouldn't be too long now.

I spy with my little eye...

All sorts of interesting/good confirmed things, I see the battery inside guide is CF, and that it looks to come with the CF battery mounts, also I see metal/alloy cups on the front spool? (Although I just remembered I have some of those but have never used them. LOL), and normal screws on the top deck perhaps?.

Also I see a little 'S' on the sway bar holders, so maybe 3 different sizes for a good fit over different sized bars like a few other brands now?, new gear diff looks 'very' simular to the Saber diff pictures on the TOP site, which makes me still wish they had released/altered it ages ago for the Photon (Last brand to have a mod durable gear diff?).

But really looks like a fair bit of carry over parts for me, I'd drop my steel shafts right in, with slip over pin retainers, few other small things, all looks cool, kind of weird the way TOP's red looks pink in some pics, where in the flesh it usually looks fairly dark red.

The motor mount is sexy. I cannot wait to strength test it...

It's something I badly 'do not' want to test.

But saying that, I'm lucky cause I never broke anything many said broke on the old car, though more than lucky cause I'm not at one of those terror boards and walls tracks some of you Yanks run on.
