I don't think it's worth contacting them, even with the new version 3 (I think) there's still problems. It was a good idea just not enough testing. Better to go with Xray's ECS fronts.

+1
The XRay ECS are proven big race winners (they have even survived my driving and helped me win amateur at IIC 2009) that can take whatever motor class you throw at them - from stock to modified. You'll find them in the majority if the "fast guys" cars no matter which manufacture's car they are running. When I switched to running the Photon, the XRay Ecs is the only part I missed about my prior ride and that is why Larry and I worked together to make the Mira Outdrives - WWW.sidepieceracing.com

How much of a difference/gain are you guys getting? I'm into getting any advantage I can get, with in reason.

Is there a parts list somewhere? Does this mod involve running the xrays caster blocks? I have been contemplating that as well.

the car definitely drives different if your running ECS/LCD axles on the front or not. it is really just smoother and has more steering everywhere within the corner.

i've broken down the multiple ways you can run ECS/LCD on my wiki (below) and put just the things you need to get the Mira Outdrives enabled on http://www.sidepieceracing.com

The parts you would need to install XRay ECS are listed at http://www.sidepieceracing.com. I'm currently out of town for the next week... so any orders would ship on Feb 28th (sorry to post about this so much on the TOP thread -- I have my own thread too -- http://www.rctech.net/forum/team-com...ce-racing.html )

Does anybody know how to run a yokomo gear diff in the front of a photon. I've shimmed for clearance on the bottom and using 46mm steel bones in the front with yokomo blades. My problem is binding when the wheels are turned. And they don't have to be at full throw either??. Anyone?
