In my experience this can lead to too much pre-load on the bearings when you tighten a wheel and then troubles like high friction, damaged bearings and damaged hub plastics.
Is the missing shim just missing from the manual? Is it missing from the design? I'll probably be able to fit one, it's just a hassle....

Does anyone know the weight of the car as a roller? Our weight limit is coming down to 1425g with Li-Po- so is it going to balance OK at that?

Thanks, Chris.
shouldnt be an issue, it isnt on the xray...

T'as fait fort sur ce coup-la... ou alors Google a déconné...

I think he wants to know where we can order photon kits and/or parts because there is no TOP provider neither in France nor in Switzerland...

This car is very interesting and could be very appreciated in Europe too!

I'm not sure if they are all current, but the contact page on the T.O.P. Japan website has a number of european distributors listed.

There has been talk of this. If there is enough demand we will make one.

Dustin, I think a spool will be just fine. Let us know what you find.

Some Photon pics from ETS. It's gonna be interesting trying to cram the mega Futaba receiver in there.

Default ESC and Motor

Dear TOP racing lovers,

Which brand/series of ESC and Motors you guys preferred ?

I heard LRP SXX TC is the best to use, is it true?

Pls share your view on this.

TQ

Which will be the kit of choice for rubber tyres on carpet (13.5 Li-Po)?

Normally I'd use a spool and a stiff chassis with a higher spring rate than what you'd use on tarmac...

Have any of 'the team' run rubber on carpet, and what's the best option chassis-wise?

Thanks,
Chris.
