T.O.P. Racing "Photon" 1/10 EP Touring Car

My understanding is the difference is one is for rubber and the other is for foam, not asphalt or carpet. Meaning you run the rubber tire car on carpet or asphalt. Someone can correct me if I have that wrong.
When ordering the kit, do you have to specify which kit ( carpet/asphalt ) you want? Or are releasing one then the other?
Wouldn't it be the best in class if you could get a kit with the option to build either one instead of buying a second kit.... Looking at the manual the items to add would be the chassis.....
The spring sets... It would be nice if there was a way to tell them apart with measuring the thickness and counting coils...
EJ, Top racers.... Nice wheeling dudes....

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for the kind words. The car ran phenomenal all weekend; I only made a couple changes based on Josh’s input which made the car even better. My setup is very close to what will come on the kit. I’ll post it on here by the end of the day along with some pictures of the event.
This was a really good showing for TOP. Josh finished 7th in the Reedy Cup, Kevin Jelich finished 9th, and Scott Kimbrow finished 11th. Link to the results file here.
This was the first big event we ran the car on asphalt, so it is only going to get better.
Thanks again to Vincent and Frank for supplying us with a limited number of kits. I know they are extremely busy but somehow managed to get us a few.
US MAP Pricing is $379.99.

Congrats to EJ for the awesome runs this weekend. I know he worked hard to get prepared for the race and it definatly showed. Thanks to everyone at TOP Racing for getting a few cars and limited parts over so that we had a few drivers running the car to work with. It really helped us test different things much faster to give us a better shot at the event. Great runs by EJ, Kevin and Scott!! Thanks for the efforts guys!!
Honestly, it's scary to think that I didn't change a roll center, camber link lenght (or shimming), wheel base among other things at the race. We haven't even come close to scratching the surface of what the Photon can do so it's a pretty exciting time for us!!
Great job of Scotty, Brandon, Sean and Billy for an awesome event even though some of the Invite drivers decided not to attend. I think they missed out on a great event and hopefully a little earlier promotion and organization can get the race back together stronger than ever!!

Congratulations on all your success at Reedy. It was fun to watch and cheer for the TOP team all weekend.
A few questions:
Any thoughts on durability after Reedy? I think I only spotted one broken car. How do those spool outdrives hold up?
How much clearance is there between the top deck and a normal size 5000 LiPo?
What are you guys doing for a servo saver?
Thanks!
