They are just as good as anyother!

They usually come with heavy brush springs, which will give your car a bunch of brake. Just replace them.

Just my experience.

Fantom tunes a good stock motor as good as any other. I have 2 Fantom stocks and like them very much. Whatever motors you buy just go to the stock motor forum and find out what others are using for brushes and springs. I recently rebuilt all of my motors with putnam brushes and have noticed a definate increase in performance through the whole power band.

I'll have to agree with the Putnam brushes. I use the green. They don't last long, but boy, are they fast!

ya, thats i thought too, cuz it includes red springs and all that i know its pretty much made for TC racing. i switched out the springs to some lighter ones and ran it on the orion motor conditioner and noticed the amp draw and condition of the motors increased a lot.

hey cory, you dont happen to race at FR right? saw your from rochester ny too!

Hi guys.Fantom does something different alot of companies DONT.
They offer 3 different TUNED motor's.
The Race edition-Good all around motor.Lil better than a non tuned factory motor.
The Team Edition-Better than Factory tuned motor's and can compete with pretty much anyone.
The Limited Edition's-This is a hand picked motor due to being the top percentage of a case of motor's.Kinda hard to find at times but guaranteed fast.

ALERT on the Putnam brushes. They DO NOT work in NON trinity or epic canned motor's.Orion Core's,Peak hellfire's,Reedy motor's,and atlas cans HATE putnam brushes. The Putnam Green,Blue combo works well on Trinity or Epic Canned motor's.The Green,Green is nice but wears fast.
The Best all around brush I have EVER used is Reedy 767's.If your a club racer try 766 on the - and a 767 on the +.This will last longer and still give good performance.
Nice thing about 767's is they work in EVERYTHING.
