paulc: good choice. i first saw a pic of this car last year when Umino just split from HPI and moved to tech. he ran it at last year's all japan nats and really caught my eye .... even ronchie's .... im sure i posted the pics beofe in the manila thread. but in case you missed it, here is the one Umino had in last year's Jap Nats .... sweeeeet!

... and the reason why the new tamiya 415 looks so close to this baby ... just read this article from rczone and you'll know why.... can you say outsourced design by tech? hehehe of cors they say its just a "rumor".

Default Mono belt proto type

I saw this pic on some site and it said that its a tech Racing single belt car...looks interesting, although they said its just a prototype. I am not sure if the design is successful.

Yea, that car is about a year old now and Tech Racing said it was just a prototype and will never go into production.

robo: now if i could only get my hands on it sooner...plus pink looks cool (i could ask my wife pinky to race again...hehehe)

fbj: i think (IMHO) belts are better for mod motors. ...single belt with meshing gears

I glad to hear that Speedtech will be picking up the Tech Racing line, ive just orded a MY02-R from Japan and can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm just not sure weather the car will be pink or blue? Ive seen alot of pink "r's"

Years ago i use to race a Tech Racing Voggerd, probably the worst touring car i'd ever driven, anyone remember these?

Default kyosho similar

Kyosho new one belt car is similar to that of the TT prototype.

Hopefully this time Kyosho will have a big break through to EP touring like there all popular GP series cars.

For as long as in works to your advantage, then it should be good Belt or shaft........any is ok, for as long as it keeps you fast on the race track

Terrible upper deck design. Probably would introduce unbalanced flex.
