Default Do I need a bigger power supply

do you think I can charge a 4 cell lipo at 6 amps and a 2 cell lipo at 5 amps off my Eagle Racing 14A/17A max power supply?

is it as simple as just adding up the amperag?

Should work. Yes it is as simple as adding up the amps plus a bit more for the power the chargers themselves draw. One problem could be that starting the second charger could cause the other to peak if the supply isn't up to snuff.

Amperage Spike - if the chargers you are using are adjustable on the fly, start the charge rate at 2amps, then after started, bump up the amperage to desired. Since you're only looking at 11amps, and the power supply is 14amps nominal, I doubt you will have any problems.

Charging a 4-cell pack Lipo would mean that the charger must have a step-up transformer in it? So it is going to use more current than a charger that was just using the input voltage as it comes.
