Default LRP SPX V's SP GT2 4 10.5

Hey guys,
Im looking at getting a new speedy for 10.5 on road.
Ive got the LRP SPX Comp or the SpeedPassion GT2 Pro in mind.
Ive done a little research on both and Im pretty indecisive on which on to get.
Any advice or feedback for either one would be much appreciated.

thankyou.

Fergo was the other person

I was running the LRP SPX on profile 7. To be fair, I only overheated one (novak) motor, the second motor's (LRP) rotor shattered after I'd installed it in a hurry and the pinion loosened off after a couple laps of practice and it overrevved.

I have a feeling the Novak was a dud anyway, it was only 2 meets old and at the first meet in hotter temps with no heatsink it was running at 76 deg C, then yesterday it goes up in smoke with the same gearing, the LRP heatsink/fan fitted, and the ambient temp 10 degrees lower... go figure

I thought the new speedo from LRP was the SSX? And they will have a new TC Spec out soon too.

Hard tell if it is temp related as I have seen motors much much hotter than 76C. My motors usually run around mid 70's to mid 80's because I use a lot of brakes. I never have any problem with those temps. I really need to get a fan on it though.

I remember reading it at 119C! Crazy hot! My LRP mod motors run around 90-100C all the time. My SP religiously run at 80 on the dot every time, and are much faster!

Heheheheh. I just checked the gearing recommendations of LRP and they suggest about a 35mm rollout, I ran that as high as 42mm might gear down a bit I think, but at 39-40mm, like your SP it stays at around 80C.
