The speed tuned gears will make your car have more top speed but less acceleration.

Default speed tuned gears

GReddy;

The Speed Tuned gear set is designed for the kit 'Silver Can' motor and is really too tall for everthing else. (burn up your motor)

Try the 21 or 23 tooth pinons with the standard gear set if your looking for more speed.

Pops is right. Another motor that would work would be a 23turn motor as alot of them like the gearing of a 540 motor. between 5.0-5-8. That would make it balistic!Otherwise your would burn up most other motors.

Gonna cook that motor.Get a 23tn motor.Have your shop order you one.Peak has one for about 20 dollars that should suit your needs.I was testing one for a super stock class.Lets just say it was as fast as a fast 19 turn.If you cant get it call Hobbytown usa in Newark and they can set you up.Ask for gary.

Talking

yea you can take out gears but there is no need for it becasue it doesn't make it that much lighter and if you want to make it $wd again you just put the shaft back in

hope that helps u out
