The Peak Vantage Spashett Edition motor is scheduled for release at the begining of 2005 in the US. The motors are already available in Europe.

Also what should I gear the car at?. Any thought would be appreciated. Thanks
Good question. What brushes do the hara motors come with?

Noticed that my Sprint brushes were totally finished after about 70 packs thru them. When i got my V2s i just dumped the sprint brushes in a parts container alongwith one set of Enduro-brushes. The question is now: What the hell is the differences in looks between Enduro and Sprint? It's impossible to sort them out..

I think the sprint brushes have the silver colored shunt wires.and the enduros are copper and slightly longer.

My enduros shunts are not copper in looks, they are silver, I can not tell the difference between the two.

Smalls,

It's only the new ones that have Copper and Silver braids, the old ones looks the same. Well, I cant tell the difference anyway.... I also mixed them up one time and I just put them inn and did not worry about it at all, LOL!! Motor was still fast enough!!

The Sprints have a shorter shunt than the Enduro's. I remember it as : Sprint = fewer runs = shorter shunt. Enduro's = more runs = longer shunt.

Also, in Europe we only use 12t and the Reedy and Trinity motors etc. are not any faster at all, just allot more work IMO!

I have tested allot with the V2's and I have found them to be better than anything else I have tested. It is not just me either, all of my friends tells me the same thing!
Dyno'd my 12 single hs revolution tonight on the cs dyno and it pulled 42k rpm and 208w whereas my Pt 12 double got 46k rpm and 238w

Let me preface this by saying, I really like my 11x1 Peak Surikarn Edition.

But, maybe this explains why the Orion/Peak drivers at the Reedy race were running motors a turn or two lower than the Epic/Reedy guys.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Hara was running a 5 turn at Reedy!

I think with tbe V2 you are "able" to go with lower turns, not necessarily have to. In the Uk and Europe we are limited to 12 turns, and the V2's seem to have gone well...........

Can anyone tell me, does the V2 need to be broken in or is it pre-broken in? If i have to break it in are there any certain tips for this motor? I assumed i didnt have to break it in since its not in the instructions, but just wanted to check! Thanks
