Has anyone raced one? Is the handling ok,or is it slower than the Sophia.
I can't speak for how well the LFA would handle on a World GT car, but I can tell you that it might be a difficult task making it look right or work correctly on that chassis.

The LFA was designed more with the USGT/Drifting crowd in mind, meaning rubber tires. If you tried slamming it down to work with the tiny foam tires in WGT, you would most likely have to trim off the front splitter (compromising handling.) On the other hand, if you mounted it higher, the wheels would look tiny and throw off the whole realistic look of the body.

If anyone has done it though at a non-sanctioned race, I'd also love to hear how it worked out for you!

Guys, Just run what you like!!!! Why wait for the manufactures to make a new body. Slap a body on your WGT car if you like BMW use it ect.. Most of us are just club racing anyway, who is going o complain if you dont run one of the two bodies ever made for WGT.

yup , i;ve got a protoform srs-n body on the way for mine , which going by dimesions it should fit pretty good wheelbase almost identical just a bit taller so i'll havr to trim down a little farther than normal , and i run my tires a hair on the big side ( 54mm). and the body is def. agressive as far as down force so i dont think grip will be an issue compared to any of the wgt bodies i think it's going to work out good. i'll post up some pics when its done

Any saloon type would be cool
So long as it's not a wedge body

For those that don't follow the 1/10 pan car thread, and want a wedge type shell, this is a new release on the American market:
(I also agree with the guys words so included them too)

You won't find a more beautiful 200mm LeMans car than this RJ Speed Porsche 962 (#RJS 1052):

Default wgt bodies

seems like in Japan they have some realistic bodies for the Yokomo gt 500 series rc cars. not to mention they use rubber tires. why not use them bodies?

That is a stunning looking Porsche, looks well detailed for a race shell.

I hope this doesn't throw a wrench into things but this 88 Corvette body by RJ Speed looks like it may be the thing to hang with the Sophia. http://www.rccarkings.net/bodies.htm yeah I know it may be a bit wide but maybe at the club level

i realize this is 235 and not 200, but is what got me hooked on rc car racing. these (with spec motors and 2wd) were way more fun than any other racing class but maybe wgt. too bad people started running 1/10 4wd with turbo motors and killed the 1/10 2wd spec class.
