Default 2002 Trinity/Car Action Snowbird Nationals

Hi all,

Would like to welcome you to the official thread for R/C Tech's coverage of the 2002 Trinity/Car Action Snowbird Nationals race, being held February 8th-10th in Orlando, FL.

I will have a section of the site devoted to the race, with daily updates from the track, meaning pictures and new results whenever possible.

In the meantime, you can also check the race's official site, www.snowbirdnationals.com for pre-race information and pictures from previous years' events.

Thanks.

Well I am only guessing here but Josh used to have a thread on tt. It was there yesterday and he posted on there in non-bold type that he was no longer a MIB. I looked today and the thread is gone. I do know he was on the list for racers attending but you are right, he is no longer there. So I will let you put it all together.

What is an MIB? I was afraid that if I put two and two together that would mean that Josh is having issues.
Thanx,

Sounds like he and Ernie had a lovers' quarrel.

That would really be too bad if he's not running the race. A 1/12th scale competition just wouldn't be the same without him...

Does anyone know for sure what happened to Josh Cyrul? Did he get fired by Trinity?

I mean it isnt like Curtis Husting wouldnt pick him for a full ride with AE, LRP, REEDY, he probably already has the deal in the works if Josh and Ernie did have issues.

MIB=Man In Bold? That is my guess. I sure hope he is there. I have seen him race but only on oval so it would be good to see him run on road.

Josh's name is back on the list in 5 classes, so I would say that he has picked up a ride. I would say that it is with AE, I heard tonight that it had someting to do with a tire deal. In Feb. 2002 iss. of RC CAR ACTION in readers news it say's that Josh has signed with AE, pg. 129 in racer news.

I know that josh is with AE and his scuffle with Ernie was over his new deal with TM tires. I am just wondering who is providing the power and the propulsion for him. I am pretty sure it is Mike Reedy but i guess we will have to wait and see.

All I know is, I can't wait to hear from my "reporters" at the track. As soon as they start practicing I will get the low-down on who's running what.

Losing Cyrul has got to be a bit of a blow for Trinity. He has been very outspoken about their stuff and represents them well at the big events. In fact, he was the only one of their guys that I didn't block in with the Losi bunch in my mind.

Futureal, greetings from Malta.

Does this mean we are going to get another great report like we did a couple of weeks ago at the Novak round?

Great. I like it. Cyrul to AE sounds interesting. He's a bomb, whatever he drives!

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.
