Flyin Fossil

For the most part traditional oval (pan type) is only run out at A.J.s raceway on fri nights. I`m running oval exclusivly so far,but its touring car on clay of all things at the Moody oval in Monee.

Default Oval Results

You could drive down there and get them for us. Or you could cut the guys some slack and give them a chance to post them. They`re trying to race too.

mr. losi: Pro Mod hadn't been run yet when I talked to Kraig.

bill80: I am doing what I can, the next time I talk to them I will ask for oval stuff. I asked the race directors to send me stuff if they had a chance but they have not been updating their own site, let alone mine.

Thanks.

Sorry, not trying to be a jerk. It's just that I've seen all the results for the roadcourse posted in several locations but have yet to see any kind of oval results. Thurs. club race or qualifying. Being an oval racer I'm curious as to who is there and who is fast. Just as the roadcourse guys are.

How I wish I could be there, and I wish everyone who is fortunate enough to participate good luck.

I know I'm impatient, but I really want to see some oval results... none on the official snowbird site either, so....

Does anyone have info on Brian Jucha in Mod Sedan Foam (and maybe 19t also). He won the "B" on the club race. How's his Schumacher Mission going? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Unofficial oval results I stole from tech talk:

6 Cell Oval:

1. Sean Cochran
2. Josh Cyrul
3. Daryl Silva
4. Burkheart (don't know first name)

4 Cell Oval:

1. Daryl Silva
2. Greg Honeycutt

19T Oval:

1. Burkheart
2. Tony Fox

12th Oval:

1. Sonny Brown

Supposedly Polimeda is one of the fastest in 6 cell but crashed out, Silva is the man in 4 cell, Cyrul was pretty bad in 4 cell but good in 6 cell.

I will do my best to get more. 3rd round of Sedan qualifying is starting right now.

Alright guys, I just got off the phone with Kraig from KT Hobbies/Team 1 and he graciously provided me with the complete results for sedans and oval round 1 (oval round 2 is just about to get underway).

Give me a few minutes to do some web magic and I will have it all online.

Awesome! Those guys should get you something for all the work you are doing.

It's too bad the rcresults.com folks were not able to have a set up for this race. :-)

UPDATE: Complete results for Sedan Qualifying (3 rounds) and for Oval Qualifying Round 1 can be found here:
http://www.rctech.net/events/snowbirds2002/index.shtml

I have told the photographers to get close-ups of factory cars whenever possible; a lot of those pictures, however, will not be able to be processed until after the race (think Tuesday or Wednesday).

Thanks.
