Default VRC latest version ? #4

Hi all,

I read somewhere that the next version of VRC will be more adapted to electric racers. I was quite a long time ago, does anybody know when to expect it ?

(sorry for my more-than-perfectible english )

I can't even find the VRC thread, sorry if I post this question in the wrong place, just move it/erase it

Thanks !

It was supposed to be released aleady (or at least beta) but it sounds like from what I've read it is still a ways off. No official timeline has been announced that I've seen. Looking forward to it myself.

Yeah...if you keep up on RedRc they have been posting lots of nice pics of VRC4 but so far I haven't heard any dates. Once they come out with it I plan on buying it

From what I have seen it will be called VRC PRO, and yes, redrc seems to have the latest info on it. I think there is supposed to be a dedicated Vrc Pro website some time soon. Looking forward to electric racing for sure.

I have the USB dongle that plugs into which ever servo you use with your radio. Works great, I make all the same changes with my radio that I make with my real RC cars.

I have used it with no issues with my DX3R.

If you use a 2.4 radio or module, buy the VRC-2 adapter, the new VRC-3 adapter has many problems with the 2.4 systems for some reason.

No issues with Spektrum. There is problem with futaba from what've heard.

To release - it's like Duke Nukem Forever - never released first mention about new version was about 4 years ago.

Check this out

To quote from the link:
VRC-3:
2.4 Ghz systems are NOT supported because of the different modulation although some VRC users have found work-arounds to make it work. We advise to purchase the VRC-2 USB adaptor to work with 2.4 GHz systems.

I have been using the DX3R since it came out without problems. The game or sim is awesome but the new one VRC PRO is going to be a whole new sim not an upgrade. It's going to have electric cars and trucks and your going to be able to pick your electronics off of a shelf(speed controllers, brushless motors, servos). They are going to have big brand names as XRAY,KYOSHO,ETC...
It seems like it's going to be awesome but they keep changing the release dates.
