hey hey hey I missed the "B" at the nats by 2 seconds and finished 3rd in the "C" out of 75 cars in the class. not bad for me having that car for only a couple months. this old man can still drive decent. I didn't think that was that bad in 12th scale country....

HI Everyone,

SLOWERONE: The WGT class is not like the amateur. I have created the expert WGT class for the full sponsored and extremely high ability drivers. So if you do get some assistance from somebody you can still drive in the WGT.

Great chat about the 1 cell in here guys. All the responses I have received in emails and PM has been all positive and everyone is very thankful to us for taking the initiative to make this happen.

I will have a couple more big announcements after the Reedy Race regarding the IIC. All I can say is I would plan on being in town on Monday night Sept 7th!

If you guys have anymore questions, please let us know.

Thanks
Scotty

Which, if you are a heterosexual woman, is completely bloody useless. It might be a good idea if you keep your brain in your pants!!

I'm sure Scotty has something much more interesting in mind...

^^^ You should hear them in person. Just watch out for al dente's loose sandals.

Okay, a few questions:

1. What will the weight limit be for rubber sedans?
2. How long will the sedan races be?
3. Will there be an on-site hobby shop again?

1. I would assume the weight would be 1500 grams since that is what ROAR is using now.
2. Interested in that myself.
3. Amp Draw has been there every year before. So one could hope they are going to be there again.

So you are saying Art and Mario are like a married couple, but just real ugly looking?

"...every other..."???? How about "every".

Ampdraw's great! Got my Gen-X 10 from them last year at a bargain price after seeing the WGT boys having so much fun at the IIC.

I find it rather funny, that in regards to World GT, there is this constant quest to make the cars slower (3.7v), which is now starting to cost more $$$!!!

And yes, i hear the "less wear on tires and motors" argument, by making them lighter, but seriously when is this going to stop? We finally find a nice balance with a car that is fast out of the box, costing about 1/3 the price of a comparable TC (to buy and run), and now everyone is hell bent on slowing them down to make the racing closer, and less expensive. Are you kidding me? If i keep having to update my car with different lipo's and motors, and such, where does the lower expense fall into play?

So, in conclusion, the new formula for this class is: $$$ + More $$$ = slower cars.

Am i missing something here?

Regards,
Steve

The only thing changed for WGT in the new ROAR rules is the battery, which is a good thing since so many refuse to run NMHD

With regard to the IIC, the expert class will be full of pros who can probably get the motors cheap if not free.
