do u guys think my novak gtb with a 17.5 motor can take a 50c rating? and for how long before meltdown? i want to run the smc 50c at the iic.i want my tc4 to fly.lol

It should be fine, but if you never have run carpet before, being fast is not going to be your main concern.

Man, this race was so far away when I first planned for it, but it is now just around the corner. I am definitely looking forward to attending the race and seeing everyone again. I must say this is a race I really enjoy not only because of the atmosphere of the event, but the attendance from around the world. I would really like to see more races of this entertaining value. It is a vacation along with enjoying the hobby we have acquired.

See eveyone there...

It will do fine but its overkill. You could put a 100c battery on it and not blow up. The C rating is max current the battery can give, not the power it has.

Just looked, baggage allowance 23kg, my race bag is over 30kg haha
I see some excess baggage charges heading my way :-(

I'm sure PDW and I will have some kit with us you can share. The faithful Worlds winning Dremel will be with me for example

Of course it helps that I chose World GT as a class that would take up the least luggage allowance And cost the least to post back to UK at our next holiday venue...

The UK team "prize" may have to be borrwing a tyre truer from time to time for our two World GT entrants though!
