Are we allowed to bring extra sets of the spec tire that is assigned to the class we are going to run, or do extra sets have to be purchased at the event?

AOD: Aloha, Great you guys will be making the trip from Hawaii. You can use your own tires for practice, but for all qualifications and mains, you will need to use the tires you get at check in with your entry fee or tires you purchase from us at the event. This process ensures that everyone is running on the same tires.

See you at the IIC.

If you are runing a foam class then I'm pretty sure unless less Scotty changed something, it is an open tire and you bring your own for practice and racing.

Thanks for jumping in guys.

I guess my response did not answer the question if he was referring to foam sedan. Foam sedan is a bring your own tire classes. as is the 1/12th scale classes.

WGT is a spec tire as is the Rubber tire classes.

Thanks guys,

Scotty

I picked up nice extension cord last year that someone forgot. If you can accurately discribe it and where it was left i'll give it back this year.

it is long, and skinny and has a plug on each end..... one end male, and one end female. the male end has 3 gold colored prongs sticking out, two flat ones run paralell, but the one on the left is slightly larger. the third is a "D" shaped hole centered left to right but is in the lowere third top to bottom. the female end has 3 holes, again two are parallel slots, and again the one on the left is slightly larger. with the same centered "D" shaped hole in the lower third. there are three copper wires inside, two to carry current and one to ground. it was left in the grand ball room at the riviera hotel and casino, 2901 las vegas blvd. las vegas, nevada, 89109. it was left on august 31st. a saturday, in the year 2008.

Are classes limited to 44 entries? It seems the 17.5 Rubber amature class is not listed on the registration form and the class shows 44 entries.
I'm still working on the work schedule to try and make it this year.

BIG FEATURES: Sounds great Mike, Your spot is all set when ever you get there. No worries and please be safe on your deployment.

STEVECRANE: For each class we are running I have set some parameters for the online entries to ensure I have space available for mailed in entries. It seems that last night we had a bunch of guys enter into the Amateur class. I will be opening some more space for this class. I hope your work schedule enables you to join us for the race. You will have a blast.

Thanks
Scotty
