I still run the GT.. Nice car....

I run it with the carbon chassis, think is not so critical.

Maybe you can get the alu motor mount, Ti turnbuckles, tuning spring & the damper grease if you can find it. I don't run the Kawada stuff, I try to keep it as Tamiya as possible. But I like the stock O-ring suspension setup. I think it keeps the handling consistant.

There is a GT thread somewhere.. Its called "Tamiya Direct-Drive " or something along that line. Go search it.

sweet.

i ordered the tamiya upper and lower deck, friction plate and damper. i am holding off on the t plate until i get used to the suspension.

i currently also have a rayspeed converted mr4-tc cgm with every hop up known to man. dring that build, i noticed only 3-4 things really made the difference.

Yeah...

But I would hold on the upper deck, as I felt that the fibre one would be better for asphalt running. As it flex more and provides more grip. Thats my feel, you could give it a try.

i plan on running asphalt only. so carbon fiber for me!

any reccomendation on the t bar? the F1 peovides more grip from what i hear. that is one mod i will hold out on until i get used to the chassis itself.

Personally for T-bar wise, I prefer the stock T-bar. Try serveral T-bar and see which one suits you.

Like what I have replied above this thread.. There is a F103GT tread by name of "Tamiya Direct-Drive".

You can find lots of info in there.

But just to reply your quiry. Some of the hopups I would recommend, centre alu shock, front tuning springs, turn-buckles & some good tires. Thats it...

I run mine at Bayswater (and formerly at Bunbury) and it's a great all-round car. Works as an F1 car as well.
