Yeah I didnt bother to get the preban clips for the .40 cal as they were only 13 rounders, but the G17 9mm I have two of the 17 rounders, and a 31 round clip. Thats one reason I live the G17. I can carry 18 rds in that pup. The .40 should get the job done easily with 11 rds, so Im not worried either way. God i love packing plastic! One of the best most versatile handguns in the world.

I have a metal briefcase for my Tx and GFX. Lastly a GM 3 box cargo bag for tires, tweak board, and soem other stuff.
That's the same way I go. I got a couple of clear plastic trays (like the drawers in a plano - in fact, they're the same exact ones. . .) and they fit perfectly in the tilt-out bottom compartment. As long as I close them tight (snap snap) they keep all parts organized well.

The short drawer is perfect for motors and my Integy alignment station stuff.

The deeper drawer is perfect for my solder station, zip grip, etc.

Under the tool tray (where I keep my tools. . .duh) is great for my charger (power supply goes in the tiltout on top of the trays) my integy dyno (for lathe - lathe is in the deeper drawer), tape, fluids, etc.

I would NEVER keep my Tx in the top of my box. I'm surprised you have it there - it seems like it would vibrate around and that's bad for electronics, especially $250 electronics. . .ouch! I have an inexpensive gun case for it - I cut the foam and it's very nice. I even have room for extra batteries, Orion lap counter, freq case, etc.

For my Nitro supplies, I have a Cen (gasp) metal box - about the only really good thing they make/sell - that holds fuel, a little box for glow starter, plugs, tool, special long shanked screwdriver, etc. and it has room for tires, fuel bottle, etc.

i remembered a few pages back, ppl were saying how its hard to get plano tool boxes...i went to Galyans the other day and saw lots of plano boxes at the fishing section. their type of boxes arent really suited for RC, the compartments are too thin to put chargers or lathes. but a little modification or removing a couple of sections...i think it would be a pretty desent toolbox!

A friend bought a set of Hudy tools then later that night he found out ALL of the Hudy tool he'd just bought wouldn't fit in the Plano box drawers. So, he replaced the tips with integy's. Poor guy

Yes New, the G22 full size frame will hold 15, and an extra in the chamber. Then its just pull the trigger time! Safeties on guns are for pansies! My finger is my safty.

On the Plano boxes, I was commenting on the one I use, and they dont make that model anymore. Thats all.

oh..alright, the ones now arent that good..the chambers arent as deep. mostly targeted towards fishing ppl! i was looking at the model 777. it looks really good..but too much small boxes. i was thinking of taking away the 2 bottom drawer so i could put my charger and stuff in there

lazy boy, what does those fan on the side of your box do? cool the power supply or yourself?
