I like that lipo chassis, but looking at that pic, it does seem wider as I suspected. I'll have to see how much the chassis costs.
I'm loving my MR4TC-SD... But it needs updating...

I don't want to run belts (don't ask why, I don't know )

Since parts are an issue with a Yokomo in North America (Especially Canada), I'm going to have to get a non-Yokomo

Looks like the BD5 has some new bits coming out. New bulkheads, topdeck, a 5cell chassis.

Right now I'm setting up my BD5 for this weekend. Hopefully the weather will hold out. We shall see. I'll take some pics.

Oh, Thanks for the fast shipping Elwyn!! Money sent Saturday night, items shipped Monday, I got it on Wednesday! Nice!

Yes, Yokomo have come out a new upper bulkhead, upperdeck and 5 cell chassis.

At the moment the info I have is you can have more adjusment for longer or shorter camber link from the upper bulkhead and the upperdeck you can adjust to fit thicker lipo pack.

I have place the order for the new parts to yokomo, expecting the parts arrived in 2 weeks time.

I'm interested in the upper bulkhead caps. That's the one thing I don't like about the Yokomo BD/BD5 and puts it down on my list from the 416. I did use the short links from time to time when I ran a 416. So this would be a huge plus for me on the BD5.

I'd be interest to see the new topdeck too.

Here is my BD5 with the new Orca TC Spec esc. That thing is huge compared to my Tekin. But it fits.

I think pretty much any ESC is bigger than the Tekin

Looks good! Nice and clean!

Totally unlike the GTB/LRP setup in my car

I'm in contact with Elwyn on this one. He's been giving me good support. Can't beat his service! So far it's okay. I like the bottom end, mid-range, and brakes a lot better than a Tekin. But I'm not sure on the top end like the turbo on a Tekin. I was getting out motored on the straight on our outdoor track. But that was on Stock II with 22.5, I switched to Stock III with 18.75 and that seemed to help. I'd like to try higher, but my motor temp was 180 on my Ballistic 17.5. I did get fastest lap for the main today. So I'm at a good range on it. I'll play with it some more. If you have any useful info, shoot me a PM on it. Thanks.
