So by the looks of things the new car should be fairly backwards compatible with the MR4 BD?

e.g Driveshafts,arms e.t.c?

I cant believe no one has called this one yet - This thing looks exactly like a TC5 with the spur gear between the pullies and yokomo shocks.

Maybe because it's blue and bet it'll be a world easier to make fast.

It also has similar characteristics to the xray.

I wonder if it has a spool in the kit of it its extra? I cant really see from the picture but it looks like the same steering geometry as before. Maybe more like the tamiya?

all the kits are similar to one another, but this one looks extremely similar to a TC5 (to me anyway). not such a suprise though, yok. and AE share a lot of stuff (see yokomo driver matsukara using the ae 12r5 @ worlds)

Default It's like this...It's like that

hmm...
it has 4 wheels...
it has steering assembly...
Yeap...

but what makes it different?
It's a YOKOMO...period..quality...quality. A effective racing machine.
Yok considers itself premium and the Associate models are 1 notch under.....their long standing relationships stands today and probably won't go anywhere.

The arms in the pic look reversible.
I'm liking the front shock tower...appears to have quite a bit angle options.
Looks like the pulley are quite larger....is it Possible that Yok has change the diff rings....the current ones are pretty bullet proof.

and I want it now...
Steve I will pre-order right now pretty please.

I think you forgot the Yokomo SD as well. They were out for a while before the BD came out. Man I remember getting my BD way back, one of the smoothest builds I've ever done.

Default belt car list

that was the belt car version list.
just my interpretation of why the BD5 was chosen as the name. I could be completely wrong.

SD = Shaft drive which I believe was release around 02-03?

think the BD must have been release around '04, I can't remember....i'm getting too old.
