I have a BD-5 and had no problems with alignment and clearance also!...Car is great. I think it was just one kit that had the problems!

on mine and 2 other teamdrivers cars, the topdeck fitted perfectly, after adding a 0.2mm shim between motor mount and center-motor-mount-holder

I took of around 0.1mm from the topdeck, where it touches the motor to give the topdeck a little more space to move when the car flexes

I will post some more information soon

Mr. Hofer: maybe you can post pics of your BD5 too. Would be good to see one built up with all the details of the car seen.

thanks Martin ... was actually gonna ask for close-up of the upper deck and center pulley near the motor but you've posted it already. car looks good.

do the following parts crossover from the BDM to the BD5? ....
spool
front and rear belts
center pulleys
center layshaft
drive shafts (bones and axles)
... anything else that can be re-used?

Hi guys,

I did an editable setup sheet for the BD5:
http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/yoko...SetupSheet.pdf

That's my first attempt so let me know if something is wrong with this file and provide feedback.

Here you have most of what is available in term of document for the BD5. Feel free to provide data!

SSG = short form for "Special Silver Graphite"

and tbh I am happy it is not in silver but in black graphite

silver looks ugly once used on a outdoortrack

They could make it in both. Its just a matter of sticking the silver stuff in the machine and letting it cut the parts. I thought the old MR4TC SD SSG cars were beautiful, but I guess anything can look rough after a beating.

Unless the black stuff clearly performs better, I would rather have the silver.

Hey B18C do you have your heart right on that LCG? I think it would make a decent car. Work great in VTA with the slower speeds. The torque isnt so much an issue.
