By looking at those pictures, it seems that it is going to be a major update. Darn it... i just recently bought a new WS lower chassis with only one race going and now they're releasing a new one. Seems like there's going to be a big hole in my pocket

The worlds will be exciting! Everyone has new parts/cars... I dont know what Tamiya is doing but I know that Yok/HB/Xray all have new parts or new cars being used.

As for a US distributor. We can only hope. I've heard some news but its not verified. I have to say that ordering from overseas is not so bad. I don't break many parts on this car, it has been very good.

And it looks like the top deck has no attachment screws over the layshaft.

Still not sure whats up with the plastic shock caps also, if they are like the old offroad stuff, they dont use bladders.

I think the Yokomo guys running thick oil like 550 may be running larger holes such as 1.2mm. Hayato has told me that 1.0 piston holes with 350 or 450 feels like 500 or 550 with a 1.2 piston holes. He is using 1.2 holes I believe. You can also try lowering your inner camber link to 1mm all around.

Also, I don't know what shock hole you are at in the rear, but sometimes #4 in the rear and #3 in the front feels good. More steering and it feels more direct for me. I see some drivers using #2, #2 with soft setups. I have not tried that yet.
tried a few more stuff to get rid of understeer. next to the body mounted a few mm forward there was only one thing that helped really .... the correct additive. suddenly there was tons of steering and the car acutally flipped in some corners on asphalt because of too much grip. now the car is pretty much perfect.....the driver now has to catch up

I have been running it for a while, seems a little more consistent than the WX chassis.
The battery setup isnt bad once you get it all spaced up, but is only good if you have one style of batt.

I am running the 2.25mm version. It is more consistent than WX. When compare against W chassis, the zeppin tends to understeer a little. The comparison is done by running 2 cars with similar setup, motor, esc, servo and batt. The only difference is the bottom chassis. Thus, the W chassis will give a little more steering, but one cannot complain the price of the zeppin chassis against Yokomo..

Regards

Sc
