Am ordering a WXi from Hobby Haven and wanted to know what chassis it is using. Is it the same original one from the BD5W? I want to order spares.

Also, anyone have any idea what the part numbers are for the DCJ's? And are they only front or F/R?

The new WXi chassis is designed for high grip surfaces (whether it be carpet or asphalt). It has less flex than the WX and very minimal cutouts.

Have you been able to get a hold of Elwyn, I have emailed him several times and he hasnb't returned the emails.

Thanks man, am a bit confused because some pics of Volker's car show the WXi with 2 servo posts and no cutouts, the others, 1 servo post with no cutouts. Am trying to figure out the part number of the chassis

yes, he did email me 2 days ago. Last he said, he was waiting for their stock of the WXi's to arrive today or tomorrow. Can't wait to build my new car!!!

yes, he did email me 2 days ago. Last he said, he was waiting for their stock of the WXi's to arrive today or tomorrow. Can't wait to build my new car!!!

I had that when i used the tamiya hex, when I put the yokomo one back in the slop was gone.

It is the std Yoke 5mm hex.

Ended up i didn't need to do much grinding. Still need to run it though to check for any binding.

where can one purchase a yokomo bd5wxi, and get it hipped to canada, somewhere in north america, also is there any support for this car in north america, thanks
