i bought the bd5worldspec in june this year. already at the first race i liked it way better handling wise than my tamiya. sofar had roughly 10 races, and the only weak point in my view is the spool that comes with the kit. the thing did not hold up very long. i put the option spool in with the steel cups and now no problemo

car has generally good grip on asphalt in my opinion, so much actually sometimes that i have started to get rid of grip through setup changes.

kit shocks are good. may should consider changed to black bladder inside.

allin all i wouldnt tradi it for any other car no more

Hay all: Not to get to far off topic, but why so little support for team Yokomo in the USA market. Also the team Yokomo USA website could use a long overdue update/makeover. Thanks

Sorry Guys!

The BD5WR kit is released in commemoration of in Yokomo having done TQ & Win in JMRCA
But it's limited sale only for Japanese market.

I got some news from Yokomo Japan.
Yokomo released the kit which added Gear Diff to BD5W Kit for the overseas market, until the end of December.

If you are looking for yokomo parts in the US, try Driftspeed.com

Hay all: Thanks for the info. Sad to see companies that make really good kits and parts not get a fair shake from the general public because their stuff is either hard to find, to expensive if you do find it or lousy customer service? P.S. if the Yokomo usa site has been inactive for a few years then why is it still up? Thanks
