How are you guys securing flat bottom LiPo batteries on the "W" chassis? I know tape is used, but what else are you doing to keep it from sliding in the event of a big impact? I was thinking of epoxying some dimples onto the bottom battery to fit into the slots of the chassis?

you can use also the 2 side holes on the chassis for to fit your battery, so your lipo will be "blocked" in 2 ways and 3 points. With a good quality tape there is no need to use nothing more

I'm running flat batteries and just strap it in with battery tape.
The screwed down inner weight is the limiter on the electronic side so the battery won't move sidewards

Hey Martin. Is there any way you can find out Ronald Volker's setup he used at the IIC a few weeks ago. His car looked awesome!

Why weren't you there??
