Default From what I can see....

here's what I can see from the "zoomed" in image...feel free to add to this list of "features"

- thick shock towers.. 3mm? Mayb 3.5mm?
- shock tower holes that are "inbetween", in half increments (for fine tuning)
- new steering system
- one piece full length upper deck
- alum. blue (YAY BLUE!) rear diff
- rear hubs look new. not the typical Yokomo hubs that have the "steps", etc.
- c-hubs (same as rear hubs.. doesnt have the "typical" steps")
- single screw on the upper deck for the steering.
- front facing servo
- low CG motor mount (free floating, not attached to the upper deck, etc)

looks to me like the belt tensioner is the same as the BD...other than shocks that looks to be the only carry over!

- Shock towers is 3.5 mm as state in the yoke japan site
- alum rear diff is nice, but it does not look like blade system (fast wear?)
- single screw look like it attach to the servo mount to me
- The steering looks like it doesn't attach to the top deck similar to TC4?
- and those batteries slots, look like I'll have to file those slots again
- description say it comes with front one way... I hope steve will get the spool or diff for the car fast.. I want to run this car at Reedy Race
- Those suspension mount look similar to Tamiya, I wonder if it will fit?

Hey Chris, is Nospoom here, is this mean that you are comming back to Yoke?

-all new suspension
-new shocks (not carrying over)

we don't have a blade system on the bd right now anyway, but if you grease it with the right things, it does not wear too bad

my outdrives usually last like 2 months .. maybe 3 if I don't race every weekend

Hey Steve Wang,

I was wondering if the Yokomo BD-5 will have a carpet chassis and top deck available? I figure on rainy days, you could race this car indoors with a carpet chassis and top deck, then when the weather is "gooder" slap on the asphalt chassis and top deck and have some fun!

Martin, hope that new car hasn't the same issues of the previous one.......also team bomber alu diff joints have a blade system....i really can't understand why yokomo did't made a blade system.......

i've raced my bd with modded tamiya 415 diff the last two years with 4.5T on foams and lipo's, never had wear on diff outdrives (i've made delrin custom blade...)...i would something like this on the BD5

sorry for my poor english...

Hey, Martin...do you know if the current BD diffs will fit the BD-5? I actually like the composite diff halves that came with the original BD. Those things lasted forever...without blades
