But the fast guys in my local track use Hara V2 purple insert or RIDE orange insert.....anyway, the 039M is really good....

Hello all

Run my BD5W the 1st time today....very very happy with the car.

Tons of grip....super easy to drive

Thanks to Antoni for sharing his setup for reference....

I'm now using the following with my car:

Fr suspension mount: FF & FR 42mm
Rr toe: 3 deg
Shock mounting on Fr shock tower: hole 3 (car more responsive)
Center link: R8
Hole on steering block: outer hole
Tire: Sorex 36R
Insert: Hara purple (I've tested Ride orange and Hara black but it's just too much grip and results in a little understeer)
Tire treatment: Tire Tweak
Fr & RR downstop: 6mm under arm
Fr & RR camber: -1.5 deg
Fr Drive: Spool
Motor: X12 4.5t
Shell: Speed 6

All others are kit setup. Track condition is med-grip asphalt.

Looking good

I ran my car the past 2 weekends. Last week was at a large IC car track with low traction. The car worked great and i didnt have to change anything besides making the front spring harder. Today i ran at my normal track and had a reasonable day. I was paying around with a few things, mainly testing between 43.5 and 42mm front suspention blocks. Im still undecided to which is better but the 43.5 did give the better laptimes, but the car was a bit more inconsistant to drive (mainly me). I guess ill have to keep testing

I have the 2010 victorian state Titles here in Australia in 2 weeks so hopefully the car works well over there.

Yesterday it seemed hard to tell for me but this is what i found. The 43.5mm front blocks definatly have more high speed steering, but you lose some initial turn. Other than that car was pretty similar. I also traction rolled (once)with the 43.5mm front blocks and never had this problem with the 42mm.
