altreyx,
Thanks for passing that on, everyone i tried either does not or can not get the parts or didnt reply. I have ended up modifying my own to get the same done, but then had to make up bearing spacers to stop the bearing binding because when taking 1mm off the hex, it allows to much pressure to be put on to the bearings as the outer lip that sits on the axle is removed.

Im very happy with my Yokomo here as ronald volker, martin hofer ,ryan maker, antoni caretti and others yokomo drivers always sharing their tips/tricks and knowledges.....very appreciate it...
So where is the back door to this information, because there is certainly nothing happening on here.

When I bought my first BD5, Yokomo didnt want to know about the problems of poorly finished parts and then tried to palm my off to Martin. Martin couldn't comment on the finish as he has never seen a production kit car, which I dont hold against him.
But when you search here for setup tips, there are virtually none.

Yes as kschu has mentioned i ran my car on thursday. From the first lap the car was very good. I think it has more overall grip than the std BD5. Im not sure how fast it was as it was on old tires and i had no timing available. I will be racing tomorrow so i will let everyone know how it goes.

If anyone wants information, or have any questions, dont hesitate to pm me

Antoni

If sent from Elwyn to the UK using EMS, anyone know what the chances are of it incurring charges when it comes into the UK ?

I've had the question asked, what value do i want putting on the parcel.

Tough one in a fashion, The correct amount may well incure a hefty charge when it hits UK shores, but then if a smaller amount gets put on the parcel and it goes missing, i'm stuffed for a claim...

Never bought anything form Malaysia hance my uncertantity...

Any advice form you all appreciated.

I've only ever ordered anything from Hong Kong, but in my experience HM Revenue and Customs are hitting anything with an order value of $150 upwards - although I'm afraid I've not got any of the parcels so I can check what was put on the customs form I'm afraid.

I'd say a kit is pretty certain to be picked up, although the worst bit is the Parcelforce handling charge rather than the VAT & Import Duty...

They've definitely tightened up on things over the past 12 months though, you used to get much higher values through with no charges. I suspect it's due to the desperation to get as much tax out of people as possible, oh the joys of the budget defecit...
