psycho--

I'm posting here because your mailbox is full.

Yes, Byron and I definitely plan to attend, so make some room under the tent, we will be there.

BTW, I have your power strip that you loaned me during the Carpet Nats, I will bring it. Thanks for letting me use it.

See ya Sunday,
DT

tell him to go to Lil's Hobby Center in Park Square I in Makati, facing QUAD. They're the official Tamiya distributors.... tell him to hurry though, I would think they won't be staying in those shelves for long....

How's the price? Is it considerably lower than what is being announced in the US?

all f201 kits sold out as of yesterday. i've heard that the real shipment (by sea) will arrive before end of april. send me an email at [email protected] in case you're still interested for your relative to get you one and i'll inform you the status regarding the availability of the f201 kits.

The price in the US at Tower HObbies is $174.99. I have 2 pre-ordered plus $15.00 discount for each. I guess I'll wait for Tower to get there shipment.

Rnold thank for the offer.. let you know If I want my relatives to get me one....

For all you Tamiya fans out there, I run the Tamiya races in Md. and Va., in the warehouse I just found a whole box full of F-1 goodies, The " Lost Ark " of F-1 stuff

premounted Foam tires on F-1 rims front, and rear
front is purple( firm ) compound, rear white ( soft ) compound
This is what I used for parking lot and carpet racing

Black wing sets

F-1 foam tires, not mounted ( Tamiya HBR soft, med, firm )

email me for pics and prices,

Well its good to know somebody has already getting the F201 kits. Well besides the lucky people in Japan. I'm glad I have mine preordered. Looks like the kits will be in high demand.

They are not only in high demand in the States...over here in Hong Kong the first batch disappeared without ANY being displayed at the shops!! Saw a few (4) guys running them last weekend. A bit more noisy than RWD but that is to be expected. I think they were only running the silver motor, but appeared to have problems with on power understeer!

I'm just a little worried about that 'piece of thick wire' it seems to use as a driveshaft. Put a 13T in it and you may get whiplash from that shaft bouncing around!!!

yes push seems to be a problem with the kit settings, I have heard of two cases where all the grooves on the front tires were worn off after only 3 runs

Yes I heard the front tires wear out after 3 runs. Ride is currently developing new tires for the F201. Good thing I still have a full set of unmounted type B grooved and slicks Ride tires and inserts. I hope they will fit the F201 wheels.

I think he means, ...hopefully the F103 series tires will fit the new f201 series wheels...

hopefully...but i would like to see some groovy tires that will hookup and last...maybe some of the TCtire mfg's will transfer their popular compounds over to a groovy....that would be cool.

I know the F103 wheels will not fit. I have the Ride tires and inserts.

I guess it helps to read now I understand

the fronts might fit but the rears are a lot narrower so I don't think they will

I am sure there will be different compunds available shortly

dtm: Dang man! Yeah, I think the shaft might whiplash if you stuck a 13t motor in there. I think you might want to wait until someone comes out with a thicker shaft before throwing in that kind of power!
