Can you still find these anywhere in the world?? The 3racing hop ups conversion CF chassis, etc...
I want to find one and trick it out, the car has potential I believe

Would F201 be a competitive F1 if the gear ratio can be lowered, say, by diy a lower teeth spur gear? As such, it can have comparable speed with F104 pro when using silver can or stock motor. It has a more adjustable suspension design like camber and rear toe in.

Hey Guys,
I just got my hands on a mint, never run F201. However I'm now hesitant to even run it. I don't want to scuff up the chassis or anything and it looks so nice, that I really just rather not screw it up.
Its weird, but now that I have it, I'm almost thinking about selling because I don't really have any place to run it . . . .
Any advice?

I still have some 3Racing hopups (no chassis right now but might be able to get one) and stock Tamiya parts in stock even though my website doesn't work anymore. For the person looking for the Williams body I might have one but I'm not 100% sure it is a Williams. I'll look when I get home. I also have a bunch of the softer compound tires. All the more popular compounds sold out but if your desperate at least they are round

The parts are still out there, including hopups. Stick to Tamiya parts, they're better, with 3Racing chassis and shocks the exception.
It's a fantastic car that needs to be driven if you havent. Significantly easier to drive on asphalt than the 103/104, and quite good on rubber tires on carpet. And if you dont mind the look you can put foams on the car for carpet and kick some butt.
Check out my cars on page 98 in 1/10 R/C F1's...Pics, Discussions, Whatever..... you'll see my 201 there.

Here is a thought. Keep the 201 ready and make it lighter. We found that if you remove the front diff, axles, and driveshaft (that's the lighter part) the car works great as a 2wd. Plenty of tire choices out there since the HPI rubber and others will fit and most are available from rcmart. Most F1 groups like ours use the silver can motor so to adjust for the weight use a 27T bruushed motor to duke it out with the d-drives. concrete, asphalt, or carpet. Bring'em back and race.
