Hey guys,
Has anybody played around with the gearing of a stock 27T motor, Ive currently got the high speed gear set (52spur and 23pinion),
what would be a good pinion to start with.

I'm so jealous! The way I drive it would not do to have ultra cool bodies like that. Every time I put my car on the starting line people say stuff like " Hey! Was anybody else hurt in that wreck?"

I was using a 21 on the long tracks for a while and a 19 on the shorter ones. One day I did not change out the 19 ( on the long track) and raced anyway, the car was very quick in and out of the corners and still had good speed. Now we run them with 19T motors in 4 cell with a 19T and it is fast! We thought once about doing away with 6 cell all together but the speed freaks out there would not have any part of that. So 6 cell is still in for the F1 tour at all outdoor events in 2009. Gotta love'em!

Which is softer, a Tamiya Type A or Type B? Is there any better options for tires for a F201?

Time to stop talking and start racing! We will be hosting some F1 events in Southern Illinois, Chattanooga, TN and Dalton, GA. There is also a chance to bring it to Southern Ohio also. Keep watching here for info. All you guys have to do is the three "ups" show up, signup, and lineup! Are we ready to race?

Actually the A is the cold weather (soft) tire and the B is the warm weather (hard) tire
