So! I talked to Rainbow 10 - very helpful people. They told me if I wanted the BMW Sauber kit, that the best sheet would be the one below. And you know their prices are really not bad at all. Conversion is about $24 per sheet. Im trying to find out what sheet is Scuderia Ferrari 2007/08.

Default progress....

I dont know if I am being a post whore or what... but i thought i would keep updates on my progress . I talked to Rb10 again and I decided to get the kimi/massa 07 decals. I figure its the easiest to make look right and I am def. a tifosi. I started work on the MLP body and barge boards. The MLP body was a little tight and the body posts were a little off so I had to trim it a little more. And I cut the barge boards so they resemble the full scale car.

Rainbow 10 has been really helpful during the ordering process and I wanted to share my findings with the forum so everyone can benefit from this. AMS makes TONS of decals which R10 carries. Here are a few you guys might be interested in. Also keep in mind that every dollar is worth 1000 yen approx. these days. So you are looking at $20-25 per sheet, and $9 for standard shipping or $15 for airmail. A STEAL when you consider these decal sheets are trying to be sold on ebay for $50-$100.

AMS 8328 2007 Ferrari and Mclaren Decal Sheet $24
AMS 8320 2005? BAR F1 and Redbull Racing $24
AMS 8329 2007/08 ING Renault and Williams Toyota
AMS 8330 2006 Assorted - Super Aguri, Ferrari, BMW Sauber and Toyota
AMS 8319 2005 Ferrari, Mclaren, and Super Aguri

I have not posted much on this site but I do have an F201 on ebay.

I just can't afford parts for this thing and I hardly used it too. I want money to race. I am a big fan of scale cars but nobody in my area gives a darn about such things. Sigh.

Anyone have a spare F201 body available? Or, do you guys know of any resources for new F201 or F103 body sets? I've recently purchased a Hyperdrive F1 pan car, but am in need of a new body. I would prefer it new/unpainted, but at this point really anything will do.

Thanks,

Ron Meloni

D-drive will give you some choices on bodies. Around here guys have been using the Duratrax Delphi body (clear) from Tower for most cars. They are a perfect fit for the 103 style. MLP has the best 201 style body I've seen. They should be coming back soon.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I checked D-drive's website immediately, but most of the bodies were out of stock and assumed they would be for some time. So, I purchased a Delphi body from Tower. I checked D-drive's website this morning and they had the F1-08 in stock, so I had to have it as well. That is a bad looking dude. Now I have to fashion a rear wing mount on my Hyperdrive to accept a true F1 style wing. The oval wing I'm running now just isn't cutting it for me.

Thanks again,

Ron
