Default new ProtoFORM Mazda6 190mm...

New 190mm race body out from Protoform...

Looks somewhere between Stratus and Alfa.

Quote:
For over 30 years Mazda has been a part of the American racing scene. The world of 1:10 scale R/C racing now has its own Mazda body-style running up front, PROTOform's Mazda6. This sedan body is for the discriminating racer who is serious about winning. This Mazda's shape and proportions are state-of-the-art for 2004 and it will fit all 190 mm chassis. This body fits all ROAR requirements and is versatile with its molded-in adjustable wing struts and inner spill-plates. If racers want to "slam" the body for non-sanctioned racing, this is the one.

Yes I agree it's a very nice looking body, but those hideous lugs sticking out of the back of the wing. I'd definately glue them instead of using the screw and lug...

One thing, the wing looks higher then the roof of the car, thus making it not Roar legal...

In my opinion, the view of the body is slightly at an angle. Then with the curve of the roof, and the straightness of the wing, it would make the wing look higher than the roof. I could be completly wrong about this, but that is how I saw it...

Like just about every other Protoform body shell it looks NOTHING like the car that it's supposed to be... Take the stickers off it and I defy anyone to tell what sort of body it is.

I thought IFMAR and ROAR regs required it to resemble the original? That doesnt look anything like a Mazda 6. As usual, it's another Protoblob.....

he used that this past weekend?!

i guess if it's good enough for baker it's good enough for me :P

the ProtoFORM line of bodies always is more racer oriented. if you want exact replicas run a HPI body.
