Down to two options now either the Sphere TC Spec/ Tamiya Volac or the Tekin RS Pro....

If the SXX TC Spec does not make much difference, then that is out of the list too... I would wanna join an upcoming big race event planned on the 21-22 March 2009.... perhaps the SXX would not be out in time for the event...

Decisions decisions decisions....

Does anyone have confirmed dates for the SXX. I am kind of in the same boat!

The SXX is not out yet. It is mainly built for Modified racing and will not have the aggressive timing profiles that the SPX does.

For any type of spec racing (Non modified) the SPX would be the choice of the LRP speedo's.

Any idea how the SPX would perform with modified motors? Is it similar to TC Spec ?

The first four profiles are profiles 1-4 on the TC spec I "think". Profiles 5-8 are the new aggressive timing profiles for Spec classes. So it should work fine as long as you use one of the first 4 profiles. The SPX does come with a heatsink to add if you wish but no fan.
